The HArd Things to be Thankful For

Thanksgiving is almost upon us and its time to be grateful for all the amazing things in our lives. But recently I learned that there are two types of things to be thankful for: The easy things and the hard thing. Its easy to be thankful for your house, your family and friends, but its hard to be thankful for the ability to cry, to fight back when something wrong has been done to you, the ability to mourn over things, the ability to have such close relationships that you miss them when they're gone. Today instead of being thankful for all of the easy things, I'm going to appreciate the hard things. I'm thankful for- the ability to miss someone the ability to complain about something the ability to freely express my frustration the ability to fail a quiz the ability to cry on my friend's shoulder the ability to laugh through the pain the ability to have my own opinion about something the ability to talk about controversial topics the ability to oppose the gove

Easter Camping

Recently, my best friend and I went camping over the Easter weekend. We first had to make a stop in Costco and we had a fun time running around and getting all the samples we wanted. My favorite was some mashed potatoes we found. They tasted amazing. I believe they were red Idaho potatoes, but don't take my word for it. Once we got to the place we were camping for the weekend, we went straight to work organizing and setting up our tent. Yes, we were tent camping. No, we are not crazy. I personally feel that I sleep better when I'm sleeping outside. Anyway, we had a lot of fun fixing our air mattresses (I may sleep outside but that doesn't mean I'm sleeping on the ground), laughing and making our tent look cute. I need to make a note to take a couple strands of fairy lights next year. After we finished setting up our tent, we walked to go find the "haunted house" that was at the place we were camping at. As always, it looked the same as it did the last time we

Why is it this way?

The past couple of weeks, I have had some difficulty doing the things I love to do. I LOVE to sing, but I haven't done much of that recently. A couple of months ago, I started my own YouTube channel and I love it. I also became interested in writing on an app called Wattpad, but these past couple of weeks, I can't bring myself to do much with the things I love to do. I don't express much of my feelings with my family, because every time I do they try to dismiss it as my imagination, or stress. Which is true I do get very stressed over things, but this is different. I just don't feel motivated to do anything. I can hardly get myself to clean my room, despite the fact that it looks like a war zone and if I were to get up in the middle of the night, I would probably fall and break my neck. The only reason I'm even writing this is because this is the only place I feel that people won't berate me for what I'm feeling or try to explain it away.
